This fall, Team #MILLSUMMIT is expanding its programming beyond the August conference and offering two workshop-like webinars.  The two that will be offered in November 2021 are below. Each webinar is $40/person or $75 if you attend both. Space is limited!

Session 1: The Pact in Impact
Tuesday, November 9, 2021, 1:00-2:30 PM ET, ZOOM
The research is clear -- organizations that embrace access, diversity, equity, and inclusion (ADEI) are more robust, more resilient, and can achieve more significant and sustained impact. Similarly, leaders who employ ADEI-informed practices are more effective in guiding teams to achieve objectives and benchmarks. This session introduces attendees to ADEI practices and reviews the language and concepts of inclusion including positionality, privilege, micro- and macro-aggressions, and more. Ultimately, we must take on matters of diversity and inclusion head-on, this session will provide a framework for resolving the tensions that arise as we meet the challenges and opportunities of diversity.

Session 2: Is Age Just a Number?
Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 1:00 PM-2:30 ET, ZOOM
Age isn’t just a number. It carries weight. The real weight is in impacts. We think of ageism as an issue affecting older workers. But experts say it's hitting young workers harder than ever. As millennials and other young professionals become a larger part of the active workforce, it is clear that age is not just a number. Young professionals report being unable to advance, take on leadership roles, and thrive due to ageism in the workplace. How do we combat this ageism? This session introduces strategies for addressing and redressing ageism in the 21st-century workplace and will give attendees a working vocabulary and tools to resolve tension due to an imbalance of power caused by age differences.
